Nicholas Stewart, MBA, CSSC, is a Sleep Coach, Consultant, and Sleep Health Advocate. His journey into Sleep Health advocacy is deeply personal. In 2018, Nick suffered from a sleep catastrophe due to harmful medical treatment. He went without sleep for 17 consecutive nights, which is commonly defined to be the record, and it took him several years to recover. He had to be hospitalized multiple times during this period. Despite this setback, Nick did not give up. Instead, he dedicated himself to researching, analyzing, and testing various sleep-related methods for over four years.
Combining his former career as a Fortune 500 trainer with a talent pool sourced from low-income, low-support, and highly violent communities, he now leverages the skills and experience he accrued in the on-the-ground Sleep Health work he offers. His relationship with Sleep Health began outside the traditional pathways but from a rare lived experience of record sleepless nights and years of insomnia starting in 2018.
To support advocacy and the real lives affected by the sleep epidemic, he authored the best-selling book, “Sleep Fitness” in 2024. When he's not serving Public Health as a podcast, show, or event guest, he's on the ground, fighting the “Sleep Epidemic” by training international clients, including individuals, teams, and organizations.
